Stonehenge as Geocentric Cosmology

One of the things that I think is important about "The Principle" is that it introduces, sometimes very briefly, ideas and concepts which can be further investigated by those who are introduced to them through the film.

Those of you who saw the opening sequence the other night will recall the beautiful animation of Stonehenge by BUF Compagnie, Paris, which proposes that Stonehenge was in fact an astronomical observatory, constructed as a sort of "proof of principle" demonstration of the geocentric cosmos.

This thesis was developed recently by the UK researcher and writer Jon Morris.

Jon's remarkable research into Stonehenge led to a very extensive exchange of emails between us as we were developing the Stonehenge animation sequence, and I was happy to receive news from Jon today that his thesis is progressively gaining more and more acceptance within the academic world.

We hope to have Jon on at "The Principle" website when we launch.........soon!

  1. Thanks Rick, much appreciated

I've approached the technical appendices with the starting viewpoint that the Earth does travel around the Sun: I decided in the end that it was too difficult to try to go into the detail; too many new concepts given that I'm trying to explain an alternative way of thinking.

I've had a lot of help from my American friends (mostly archaeological enthusiasts) on this: So it was decided to publish it at cost for the first few days and not to take the extended option, so that they could get hold of a copy if they wanted (making it available using the extended option pushes the price up quite a lot)

For some reason Amazon UK got it to market at lightning speed (hours) and it was only available on Amazon USA after the event. So the decision was made to keep it at the lowest possible price (but in the USA only) until this Friday. Thought it worth the mention!

Very much looking forward to seeing the film!

    All the very best

    Jon

  2. Thanks for this post Rick and thank you Jon for your fascinating and powerfully convincing research into Stonehenge. After looking into it I was sold! I ordered your book Stonehenge: Solving the Neolithic Universe: (expanded edition) today and am looking forward to it with much anticipation.

Rick, if it wasn't out of line with your script I hope you were able to include at least an oblique reference to the miraculous image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. I quote from Robert Sungenis' study of this image: "[St] Hildegard [of Bingen] explains that the North-South axis of the universe runs horizontally, not vertically, and that the universe turns like a wheel on an axle. I discovered the same model of the universe appears on the Tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe as seen in the image of the stars given to Juan Diego in Mexico on December 12, 1531 A.D."

  3. Thanks James; I hope you enjoy it

As of this morning, Amazon USA now seem to have discounted it back down (by 50%) to less than the price that the publisher could sell it for even if she bought in bulk: My apologies for telling everyone it would go up to the same price as in England on Friday: That hasn't happened. I guess Amazon USA must have selected it for some sort of promotion.
